The shoulder seaming on Owen’s sweater is done.
All that’s left is the much-less-finicky side seams on the sleeves and body. Shoulder seams for set-in sleeves kind of suck because it’s hard to do mattress stitch when the stitches on one piece are perpendicular to the stitches on the other.
But, that’s the hard part done; after the seaming is finished I’ll be doing applied i-cord around the hood/v-insert, mid-sleeve where the stripes start, and near the hem of the body where the stripes start. And then I can rewash it and mail it off! Not too long now.
Oh, and by the way, I was right about that interview. It was an on-commission sales job, so I didn’t interview. SO not my type of thing.
